It’s getting spicy out there, which defense contractor is a better buy? Please, Satanists and the poor don’t reply

Starlink. Joking not joking, but Elon created something the military didn't know it needed.

For your question. I'd long Raytheon, but General Dynamics knows how to compete.

Raytheon if I had to choose just one currently.

The RTX threw me at first. Is this situation in anyway comparable to the High End Graphics industry.

Nvidia has been dominating for couple decades. AMD is always right on it's tail but never can quite compete at the highest end product line. In the middle level of products often times AMD will have a better price/ratio for a mid range product. But it can't scale up and create a top end product like Nvidia.

This has panned out quite a bit as the Graphics Card industry shifted first from high end gaming enthusiasts, then to crypto miners, and finally its focused on GPUs with AI applications.

Would you say General Dynamics ability to to create lower priced products is forcing Raytheon's hand at the highest end level or is General Dynamics on its way to become number 1 displacing Raytheon's top end status?

I think that this provides a frame work of looking at the competition dynamics. Back in the GPU space, Nvidia is so far ahead that AMD is not catching up anytime soon.
