My first experience here was wild too. Lvl 5 I manage to meet my first player, a friendly Druid named Beck. He’s gonna buff me up so I can power level. I hadn’t played this game in a decade. He’s gotta med first and group for buffs. Woooosh

He was never a dick about it - just enjoyed the pvp. He was nice to chat with and would help me out if I got in too much trouble. How a pvp player should be.

I don't know why people think red 2.0 is a good idea. It is like hoping an abusive relationship gets better. There are actual good pvp servers launching every year that don't have any of these problems and the coding itself is better than red99.

Quarm should have been a lesson that you don't have to be tied to a project 1999 server and Quarm isn't even good coding. The client project 1999 and Quarm uses are trash.

That being said, that story is funny AF

and PvP has its place for sure, like any time I see someone quadding/swarming I have a strong urge to root them

PvP mechanics would solve almost every raid and camp issue on Green or Blue, no need for "rotations", UN councils, lists for camps and anger at account sharers, just let the guilds/players zerg it out among themselves
