Setting up my account-error

Hello, all.

I am trying to set up my account, and it is getting stuck on the SMS verification. I think this is related to the posts I see on the SMS issue. Is there any way to continue my account setup without that step? I am getting a DB error when I try to log into the game client. I assume it is because I couldn't complete the account setup steps.

Create an account without using SMS.

I have tried that, but it is stuck in step 3, which is the SMS step. It won't move to step 4 or 5 in this link's directions.

Try creating the log in account on the EQEmulator Site instead- Don't link it to this forum:

This "work-around" should be bookmarked until the SMS issue is resolved. I have to keep telling people to try it.
