I have been playing on P99 some 10 years ago and contemplate to make a trip there one more time .
I still remember my forum account (obviously I can post) and probably my Login game account.
However I have no more the Titanium EQ edition installed .
The question is simple : if I install EQ Titanium, will I be able to log in my old account ?

The thing is that I don't think to level my characters from 1 to 50 all over again so would like to just continue to play with my old characters.

yes, your account is your account. nothing is tied to your titanium install at all and all persists on the server. You just need a patched titanium client to access the server

Thanks .
So I installed Titanium into a new folder, then got the patch files (V57) as required.
However when I double click "Launch Titanium.bat" what is supposed to launch the game , I get an error message : Windows cannot find "Eqgame" and indeed there is no file called "Eqgame.exe" in the Titanium folder.

What is this again ? What is this file and why isn't it in the Titanium folder ?

Actually there is something going wrong with the Titanium installation.
What I did was :
1) Download a zip Everquest Titanium folder containing 5 ISO folders
2) Unzip the folder
3) Open the Disk1 folder and double click setup.exe. The installation process starts.
4) At some moment a pop up menu asks to "insert Disk2". I have no idea how to "insert Disk 2".
Can somebody help me (I am running Windows 10) ?

Thanks for the PM. That seems to have solved it.
So I have Titanium installed and connection to P99 working.

I would like to ask a few last questions, if somebody can help me out .
1) My characters are apparently on a "blue" server. Back then when I played, there was only 1 server and I was told that the green server is "better" with much higher population. Is it possible to transfer my characters from blue to green ?

2) There is plenty customisation I need. For instance the game appears in a very small window (about 1/4 of the screen) and I don't see a button allowing to change resolution and/or swap to full screen display . Is there a guide somewhere explaining the first steps in the game ?

3) Same for the UI . It looks like what I remember from 99 so that many buttons and options are missing . How can I change UI ?

No, you can't transfer characters across servers.

To get a full screen windowed mode go to c:/sony/everquest and open the eqclient folder and change the WindowedWidth and WindowedHeight values to fit your screen. There's also WindowedMode x and y offsets. You can cover the entire screen with just the taskbar showing.

For UI the titanium client comes with a few options, in game you can type /load into a chat box and select one. There are also several you can download searching the forms or eqinterface.com and you just go to your everquest/uifiles folder and paste it in there, then it should appear as an option when you hit /load in game.

Many thanks Spoil ! Your help solved the problems .
Unfortunately I met a guy in game yesterday and he told me that at level 42 (my 10 years old main) I wouldn't find groups on blue to get across the hell levels (that I have forgotten too !) .
As I don't intend to start at 1 again on green, this has really scared me so that I am no more sure if I should continue to set the game up.

Thats entirely untrue.

At level 42 you can go to City of Mist which is a popular leveling spot, even on blue.

Also the /who command exists. You can make your own groups.

At level 42 you will definitely find groups in a place like City of Mist. Not every single time you try obviously, but you won't find one every single time on Green either. IMO I'd argue that the 40s is one of the level ranges on Blue where you're most likely to find a group.

In the 50s it's easy to find a group in KC or occasionally in Velks/the Hole (or join a guild and bring your own group there).
