Fine Plate Greaves Won't Dye

I was dying Fine Plate armor for 7 pieces. 6 of the pieces had no issue. Forge+Dye+Fine Plate Item+Jar of Laquer+Jar of Acid. But this formula did not work with the Fine Plate Greaves. When I tried, it told me wrong container. I checked and rechecked the formula and item. Please help.

Ok! Just an update. I was using Russet Extract for my greaves. The combination with Russet Extract did NOT work. Then I decided to try Jack-O-Lantern Extract with the greaves. That combination DID work. I haven't tried all the other color combinations but Russet Extract is bugged for greaves.

Do you have to do green first? I've never messed with armor dyes but just glancing at eqtc:

Unsure what you mean by green first. But for sure, one of the dyes is bugged. I might go through the others sometime in the future.

Looks like its either a classic anomaly or eqt had it wrong with needing to dye to green first
