Missing NPC: The Behemoth (Siren's Grotto)

There appears to be little information about this named walrus in Siren's Grotto, other than its level (54), appearance (servant walrus), descriptions of its spawn loc, and what loot it dropped (Behemoth's Hide, Walrus Fang Belt, and Behemoth's Fang, the latter of which got moved to the loot table of Ulth the Enraged). The loot itself was accounted for on various sites during Scars of Velious while information on the mob came later.

Just got this belt. Helluva rare spawn (since I spend a lot of time in SG where he spawns).
As a lv 52 monk, I'm very happy to add this to my attire :)
I've had some generous trade offers, but I'll be sticking with this belt until something better comes along (which probably won't be soon).

The Behemoth... looks like a servant walrus.. he spawned at the bottom of the well for me the other night, dropped...
Behemoths Hide 32ac weight20 chain classes and up... looks like very purple vellious chain... gaudy as all hell... can't remember how hard he hit, was not as hard as a neriad mistress though, and he rampaged

I saw a wood elf warrior (I believe, MAY have been a bard / ranger / rogue, tho I'm pretty sure it was a warrior) wearing this yesterday. Looked on him like purple ry'gorr...very cool.

One of the EQ developers have stated that Class: NONE is just a mistake. You can see that on other items as well, for example a ring drop in Velks. It will be fixed, but most should be usable anyway.

The behemoth loc: in the well, ph is always a servant of the mammal type. drops 32ac 20weight chain bp, 15ac 50hps 0weight belt, 13dmg 21dly -25ac piercer.

I was researching this one a bit for TAKP and there doesn't seem to be any screenshots of "The Behemoth" anywhere, it leads me to believe that because his drops were "Behemoth's Hide" and "Behemoth's Fangs", it may have just been Ulth the Enraged and people called him "The Behemoth" by mistake. Ulth was also very rare, so a lot of the lists with the drop from "The Behemoth" were probably just 3rd hand info copied from other sites. I could be wrong, but that's where I landed on it.

I've camped an killed Behemoth with 4 people before=) Me cleric shaman chanter. With a level 60 puller it's very easy. It's also a fairly nice camp and good exp for people. As well as some shots at other nice items and lotsa quest gems. Makes the camp more desirable=)
