Lost levels on one toon

I recently discovered my Barbarian Rogue, that was roughly at level 20 or more (i cannot recall exact level as I had not logged in to my account for some time.) Was reset to level 1 and defaulted location to Halas, instead of near Crushbone/GF area where I had him logged out last. I had all my equipment and items still.

Is there a reason for this or is this a technical issue?

Have you applied the current patch? Things can appear wonky on the character select but it shouldnt let you log in if this is the case

If thats not it, is it possible you made a level 1 of the same name on a different server?

I have applied the current patch, otherwise I don't believe i'd even be able to see the selection of toons i have on my account like i encounter any time the patch is out of date.

I definitely made this character on the blue shard, and definitely was over level 20 on this toon.
