New player to P99 here, and pretty much entirely new to EQ as well. I remember making a character on my friend's computer back in 2001ish and farting around for a while but no actual experience. Still enough nostalgia to bring me back though.

I have to say, at this point the old vBulletin forum style feels like a classic experience in and of itself. I'm here for it honestly. ;)

Anyway, I rolled a High Elf Enchanter named Sperrow on Green. Hope to see you all in the world of Norrath!

Welcome. I also had a friend who used to play and I only messed around for a little bit but I guess the experience stayed with me as well. So I basically started fresh on p99 too.

Enchanter sucks at low levels but then it keeps getting stronger and it's my favorite class by far. You may find these guides useful:
