Troll SK starter points

I was looking at the guides on the wiki and it seems split.

Dump all point into INT
Dump all points into STA

Now I know Trolls are dumb dumb I am just a casual light twink player who plays to solo or do a few pugs so wanted some opinions on points.

u need dex to be a good sk and int is better for soloing than regen

int matters not in grps

there is good gear with int on it, butt u wont prob want to wear it by end game int is prob the min max

I thought agi doesn't do much on p99? Except for 75 agi mitigation, (If you don't have 75 agi, you lose a chunk of AC.) and having enough agi for fungi tunic?

I'd probably go Int.

She could be right about Dex, but I don't know enough about Sks.

U don't really benefit that much from fungi as troll sk. Wouldn't build around a fungi.

At high levels this may be true, but one would certainly benefit from it to power level through low-medium levels by soloing. Face tank mob, fear it and regen hit points as it runs away and you continue to beat on it, rinse and repeat.

i mean it nice butt its entirely skippable i dont think this guy is going to have or need one by the time he can get one there's gonna be much better items to get - AS an SK

now if he has 100kp laying around it doesn't hurt to pick one up, i still wouldn't put an extra 15 points into agi for it !

Do trollls start with 70 or 75 agi? if 75 its ok to not worry about it then go int or dex or int and dex or something like that

either way u cant horrifically screw up ur character u can get by with putting all points into charisma once u get velious gear it won't matter on an SK at all cuz u don't need max mana, it could make soloing dragons a bit harder if u are missing out on like 20 points of INT

ac and resists are what u want to gear for on a troll sk also so bear that in mind u dont want to have to shore up starting stats by sacrificing a solid piece resist gear

Thanks guys I put all into INT and got him a full set of Crusty and a FBSS I do not have much for jewelry yet.

As for weapons I have a Worn Naginata but 2 hand sucked when you are under level 20.

I got him a Brightwood Spear and a Skull Crusher sword which are ok. Not sure if I need a better one hander if I plan to solo and 2 hand is king.
