Just started first time, message says "Click EQ Menu button and then Help", but...

There's no "EQ Menu" button anywhere on my screen! So I don't even know how to open any menus to set up options or whatever. How do I get to this button? And if the button doesn't exist any more for some reason, why is the very first thing the game tells a brand new player to do is click a non-existent button? :P

Alt+o for options, the reason to why the game tells you to use a removed button is a mismatched era to client and that no one bothered to change that greeting
