Haven't seen one of these yet and am always down to watch a good film. I'll start first recommendation.

Ran- directed, edited and co-written by Akira Kurosawa.

Best movie I've seen in about 3 years.

Yeah man if u watch Ran tell me what you think. the set design costumes and the sheer amount of horses and men they needed to make it is insane. It's the closest thing to looking through a window in time comparable to Apocalypto. The actual story and acting are great too.

Strange World was pretty cool. Saw it in the cinema. It did have a teenage crush scene that was proper cringe and left me wondering if i was a homophobe. Saw another movie with a homo couple later which actually came across as cute so I realised I wasn’t such a biggot but the scene in Strange World was just awkward cringe.

Is Magnificent 7 worth a watch?

The 1960 one is. I haven't seen the 2016 version.

Funnily enough the screenplay is based on Akira Kurosawa's work. (Ran, Yojimbo, Senjuro, Throne of Blood, etc)

Yojimbo is basically A Fistful of Dollars
