So its been a long time since ive played (since PoP)... but im reading the p99 wiki on some things, and it says "you have paths conjuration and alteration" if i remember correctly you didnt have to pick a specific one, you just casted a buttload of times to lvl up that specific path... like if if summon water was conjur, you summoned a billion water to lvl conjur up, than you cast DD spells a billion times to lvl up your other path... do you actually have to pick now which is stronger? or a path?

so if you fizzled a crapton at conjur, you just summoned a bunch of water or pets to get your conjur lvl up... etc

You can max out all of your spellcasting skills, but you can only specialize one past 50. Specialization reduces the mana cost of spells, as opposed to reducing fizzles (which spellcasting skills do). "Specialize: SCHOOL" are a set of skills you learn automatically at level 20 (for INT casters) or 30 (for WIS casters); the first one you raise past 50 will be the only one you can continue raising past 50.

Yep. Every 20 skill points reduces the cost of spells from that school by 1%. So it's a 10% max reduction to your real spec and everything else gets a free 2.5% reduction slapped on.
