Wondering which class between necro and druid has more charming spots at high end (55-60), and who has more interesting places to charm or more places where they can charm mobs to go against more nameds/loot. Thanks

Agreed. Sadly Velious doesn't have a high-end Undead zone. It would have been awesome if the Dragon Constructs in Dragon Necropolis were charmable. Then maybe Necromancers could farm the rats down there. But if the wiki is correct, the constructs are 56, so I think they are too high to charm for a Necro.

Necros are a bit better in Chardok, but I have seen a druid soloing korocusts room by snare parking.
Very ballsy stuff.
But yeah for velious especially druids have some good options
Dogs in kael, seahorses in sirens.

Necros get KC, HS, and Chardok for XP with Cliff Golems and Seb Crypt on top at 60 for plat.

Druid gets bear pits, chardok, and SG. Porting for money / powerleveling.

Druids can solo cliff golems with tiger pet, but its painfully slow.

I see Druids charm in PoM sometimes too. Not really sure if either or both classes can practically solo a4. Afaik there are only a few animals so you couldn't do the efficient kill your pet strat to solo xp.

A 60 Druid can definitely solo A4 (or at least a lot of it; I've never done 22 on my Druid) ... but not for XP.

That's ok though, because at 60 you're there for the thrones, not XP.

When HS South items were selling well necro was $$$$.

Not so much these days.

Druids best bet is to just mindless grind bear caves to 60 and power level for muhnies.

Thought I've seen some necros soloing WW dragons just doing traditional fear kiting.

Correct. SKs can do it as well. Ya just bring em to water.

I think Yeldema and Gefala are the only two static fearables. The other fearables are part of the Myga cycles.

If you have Kael faction they are decent loot, mostly for the dragon head quests. Sometimes the spells sell but there's not a ton of demand. They can drop 4-necks which are mostly worthless, especially given their 7 minutes corpse. My experience killing them is on a bard, but Sarleon posted a necro Gefala kill on youtube.

You can drag an undead mob out from behind the crypt door if you want to do some kind of camp in seb.

One undead mob doesn't get you very far if you're not duoing with a cleric.

sure it does (if you want it to)

calm, break w/ ivu, root/snare (can skip this if you're near undead mobs spawn point), FD

pet goes back to full hp, recharm
