I think it's a G502, it has 2 buttons on the side.

Is it ok to use these to cast a spell (Alt+ a number) or to open and close my spellbook?

I'm worried that it's considered against the rules even though it's not doing anything I can't do with a keyboard, I have arthritis in both hands so it would be very helpful to cut down on the amount of unnecessary stretching and repetitive motions.

i realy like my razer

and no its not against the rules to do that (what u said, my mouse buttons are bound to 0,9,8,7,6,5 in my softwares just illegal to do a sequence of stuff unattended repeatedly or swap weapons to be on the safe side just manually press a button every time u want something done

also rebinding function keys on hardware is era appropriate cuz lots of software did that forever and ever since before 1981
