If you think its absurd to sell spells b/c they benefit a caster's group then its absurd to sell any item at all. Tanks having more ac/hp helps groups, dps doing more dps with better weapons or haste helps groups...

Melee benefit more off gear than casters do. Casters really only get better with new spells. Melee get better with more gear. So as a caster as much as I hate to say it, theres no reason spells cant go for the same price some items do.

The reason people are paying stupid ridiculous prices on item like these spells and gear is because there is a ton of plat in circulation on this server. That means many people can afford and will pay stupid high prices because they want it NOW!

Devs could fix the Fing Seafuries that are causing huge inflation on this server. They didn't drop anywhere near the amount of plat loot on live that they are dropping on this server.

Between this problem and the commonality of items that should be rare but aren't are causing prices to not be what they should be. Anyone recall a Tranquil Staff, Trance Stick, Driftwood Treasure Chest dropping every day on live?
