View Full Version : NPC Spawn Issue: Mobs returning to spawn point unable to be seen.

I have noticed a bug where mobs will return home (in my case after I FD) and upon reaching home, they vanish. They are still there, but I cannot see them, nor target them. If I run over to that spot/area or pull by it, they aggro and then become visible. I am unsure what causes this, it may be a z axis thing, or them falling through the floor or wall, or somehow being out of sync with this dimension..lol.

Example: Upon pulling King Tranix's room I successfully split off King Tranix and we kill him. I run back up for another pull and when I look in the room I only see one of the giants flanking his throne. When I pull by the spawn point where I do not see the giant, or run over to it, he aggros and upon running from that area he begins to chase and I now see him. I have seen this behavior in other zones mostly (because of raids and what zones I take my monk) Sebilis, the planes and soldungb.

I also have this issue when monks FD split.

This has happened to me as a necro when trying to split static spawns.

This happens a lot @ King in Seb. Especially the platform merbs.

I've seen this happen too. The mob returns to the proper X&Y coordinates but sometimes they basically fall through the floor and are at the bottom of the zone.

Since mob agro & attack ranges aren't limited by height, they then agro and beat you to death from under-ground.
