I mean "evil" seems judgey, but whatever.
I'm playing a dark elf and was wondering what happens if I get a druid port. Will I get whacked on the zone in by whatever druids happen to be standing around the rings? Are there druids standing around the rings? Maybe this isn't actually a problem and I am being a worry-wart.
Thanks.

It depends. If you can self invis, you're fine. If not, ask the druid to camo you beforehand. When I port people I generally invis anyone that has that particular "look" to 'em just in case...

Depends where you land. The main druid that sells at most rings, to my understanding, is always indifferent, at least to my Iksar necro. For example. I can just walk up to the single druid vendor in BB or WC and they will even sell to me, but if you are a lower level and you get within aggro range of the lvl 30 druid casters they might kill you if you are too low and they aggro you.

If you port someplace with aggressive monsters or npc's, they gladly attack you as soon as you appear. This includes everyone; numerous port locations are unsafe for most or all characters. Evil characters obviously have more such unsafe areas (the druids you describe are indeed quite aggressive towards evil alignments), but to some extent it's an issue everyone deals with. It's recommended you port to any "new to you" location invisible if possible until you learn which locations are safe and which are not.

Self invis or being invised makes them all safe, except Wakening lands. I’d have a cloudy potions in you and hotkeyed just in case it’s fading or the porter is being bad.
Druid rings safe to all (minus roaming npcs you can prob handle if headed there anyways)
Butcherblock Mountains
Feerrott
Tox Forest
South Ro
Dreadlands
Iceclad
Great Divide
Steamfont
Semi sketchy:
West Commons (if really low level Druid’s nearby will aggro)
Super scary
East Karana (low druids in the teens but I think at like 30 you will get swarmed)
North Karana (GM level Druid’s nearby)
Surefall Glade (GM Druid’s nearby)
Cobalt Scar (safe with velious dragon faction)
Wakening Land (safe with dragon faction or if Wuoshi is dead. Sees through invis)
Toxigen
