Private messaging

I can't seem to figure out how to send people messages on the forums here, there's nothing extra to click in my e-mail either already checked that twice. Any ideas?

If you look in the upper-right corner, do you see "Welcome, *your name*," followed by the date of your last visit, and then the words "Private Messages"? If so, that's where you go.

If not, you're probably running into some forum protection. Spammers try and join forums like these, so that they can private message people stuff about dick pills and other crap, so to prevent that I think the staff limits new members' ability to message.

Stick around, make some posts, and after you've been here awhile that restriction should go away ... but I don't know specifically what you need to do (eg. make 5 posts? wait a week? a month?) Perhaps someone else here knows?
