Perd guys have absolutely no courtesy or regard for server rules. They have a nauseating sense of entitlement which ruins game play for others. There are few disputes regarding camps on Red with pvp but there is nothing in the camp rules stating a person can leave the camp (logout, gate, whatever) and still possess the camp because they "killed him last time" or to demand it be settle by pvp.. i.e. "bring your 60". See below:

No there are no camp rules you take mobs and fight players for them if you so desire. Is this a joke?

I dunno how it works when it comes to OOR encounters in my experience tho whoever kills the mob is the one who kills it too bad so sad.

Red toxic? Defiantly maybe, but we do not need to have a lawyer on retainer like Blue/green. You have an issue kill that fool easy as that. You want a spot in the group wait in line HELL no pick the weakest link KILL that fool take his spot, its easy. It takes a hard man/woman to play here. Red is not for the faint of heart those who get butt hut easy, “Back to blue” as we say. Can’t take the heat stay the hell outa the kitchen.

I'm just a humble Red lawyer trying to do the best I can against this brilliant prosecutor from the big server of Blue, but I reckon the plaintiff never actually claimed the camp. We don't get many camp disputes round these parts, but the rules clearly state,

In general, if the placeholder or placeholders for a spawn are being killed, that 'camp' can be considered held by the player doing the killing so long as they are keeping the placeholders (or the room if there are no placeholders) cleared, within the same zone, do not die or log off.

It seems to me that since no one was clearing the room, the camp was in dispute, and the defendant simply won the resulting fte.

Before you make your deliberations, I'd like to leave you with these wise words,

The bottom line is, don't be a douche out there.

I got the chance to play with some perdition players and even given the chance to

play on one of their clerics

I have to say they are some of the nicest people to play with and they make the pvp

actually sound fun

If I had more time, I would have definitely committed more time in playing with them on

my cleric over there

again, you can't really blame a whole guild for the action of one person

the whole thing is comical but mostly the title of this thread.

i camp the king multiple times most days and anytime i have seen any lowbie camping it when i load in i just ask them if they are camping king and move on if they say yes.

does that mean Perdition is the most helpful and respectful presence on the server?

Around the same time play nice policy was added the GM's were enforcing camp rules between OOR players. Basically if I showed up on my main and you were on some obscure alt camping golem wand I'd get suspended for taking it from you unless I cycled through all my characters to find one in the same level range as you.

Thankfully that was only ever enforced like once? The GM's on red99 were always so bad glad sirken got kicked but the others had all been really stupid to

I didnt even know that was a thing on Red. The only rule needed imo is dont train or else an outfit like Holocaust is going to take it to shitshow level. That camp rule should only be upheld if someone follows a lowbie around griefing him by nuking his mobs so he cant xp. If its just to kill a mob with an item that the high level wants, tough shit, level up.

Kill stealing will not be an offense on the PvP Server, and may be used against other players even in situations where the players can not directly attack eachother. A higher level may chose to grief a lower level out of a camp, but be thankful he isn't able to kill you instead and move along.

Bind Camping will not be an offense on the PvP Server, however it will be frowned upon by the staff and in some situations may be intervened.

You either fight for the camp if they come back, bro out of the way or get lucky if they miss the respawn timer or are done.

Either way, there are very few circumstances where the GM's come fix a dispute.

Most people have multiple level 1 bank mules that they trade on. Mostly for extra bank space, but primarily for convenience of not having to go to a bank in the middle of doing something else.

I think pvp is disabled at level 1, but guards kill to fast anyhow.

No one really goes around trying to do bank heists since maybe vanilla.

I only have a very low character on Red, so please forgive my confusion/ignorance: if there's more than 4 levels between OP and the 60, how can they solve with pvp?

And if it can't be solved with pvp why does the higher guy just get to say he gets the camp? Why wouldn't camp rules just apply?

GMs don’t have the time or inclination to properly police Blue/Green, let alone Red. We are the abandoned Red headed stepchild they no longer care for and are embarrassed to go places with. Stop being man children and pay the Iron price for that cold iron!

This is to keep chumps who want an afk cash camp from using lower level toons to hold it in order to avoid pvp to keep their camps with zero effort like on blue.
