gui issue - new window no cursor or ability to type

i am trying to have a 2nd chat window but i can't type or click cursor
loading different uis garners same issue - can't even click in the typing area
help

other character new window works, must be related to original char xml files

**solution**

near top right click new chat window to open chat options menu
select Always Chat Here option
able to type again, updated chatfontsize
went back to main chat window and right click near top to open chat options menu
select Always Chat Here option
restores chat cursor in Main Chat window
