Windows 11 crashing

In guild chat someone asked me to tell them once i fixed my windows 11 crashing issue
A box would pop up and say a memory exception 000000000.. anyway once you closed the box you crashed.

so here is what it took for me

1. eqgame.exe , go into properties and set to run as admin. Set to compatibility for windows XP service pack 3

2. Download Wineq2 and install set up for p99

3.Download Borderless gaming install and add wineq2 to automatic.

Launch borderless gaming
then launch wineq2 p99game.

Late reply, however I tried this out and found that when loading WinEQ2 I get an error about how WinEQ2 could not attach. It proceeds to run the game normally and I’m unsure why it’s happening. I have everything setup as it should, and tried multiple times to resolve this with no luck. I constantly suffer from memory crashes and have tried everything but WinEQ2 due to this error.

Any ideas as to why it can’t attach? I’ve searched far and wide to no avail.

Move your install out of program files.
