Feeling bad for people who couldn't plan accordingly :-/
Why not just up the exp a few percent in general instead of these "if you're there, you're gonna get a huge advantage, and otherwise, too bad..."

These kind of "exp events" tend to cater to people with a lot of playtime. It would be much better with something that would help the players with less playtime, to help bring them better along.

^^ dumb post complaining about a good surprise. I'm sorry we don't have Battlefield style EXP boost tokens or whatever, but this is an EMU of a game from 1999.
