I want to come back

Hey, guys. This is the first time I've logged in since 2013. I want to get back into P99 and would like an update as to server options and their current progression through expansions. I see all this talk of different servers and, while I understand blue and red, this is the first time I've seen green and teal mentioned. How are they different to blue? Are their special rules Or are they the same just newer? And finally, which server is the newest, as that is probably where I'll start.

Well, I've been playing with the search function and may have answered most of my questions. I suppose I ought to have done that before making this thread.
Looks like Teal is the newest, but that yet another green 2.0 may be in the future. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Will it be starting on classic or will it be the same expansion as green? (I presume velious)

Green is currently the newest. Teal was a split of Green that was merged back with it (RIP).

Green 2.0 might be in the future, who knows. It will most likely start in Classic. There aren't really any rule differences between Green and Blue, outside of some raid rules and such.

It funny...I was worried p99 may be dead or inactive. I'm pleased to come back to server splits apparently being necessary due to excess population.

Population wasn't the issue.

Still sub 2K players divided into 2 servers now. Mostly around 1600-1700, more when a quake is on. Free loots for all. Scout roll/ ring 8/ Lodi/ Storm feather etc all the way to the bigger raid targets.

Now warders no longer spawn on Green. Population dropped.

haha, don't you know, P99 is not about the accumulation of pixels, it's about denying pixels to others, the sociopaths around here can't help themselves...
