EQ is funny if you think about it especially the P99 version because it's a slow game which everybody is trying to speed up.

You do the same thing at level 50 that you do at level 1 the only difference is the speed you do it at..

If you really loved the game you would play it as slow as possible because there's only so far you can go in it so by going quick you're screwing yourself.

Plus, if nobody ever gave you sow/clarity/haste you would never miss them. It's only after somebody buffs you and the buffs fade that you miss them and start begging for more.

This is why P99 will almost never feel *quite* classic - especially after a server has been running 2-3+ years.

I believe the 1st year or so of a new server here captures the diversity of the classic population and atmosphere the best. :cool:
