eqgame.exe keeps going MIA

On two separate computers now I go to log in and I get

18168

Any suggestions?

I tried to reinstall the game but on disc 4 I think it was it said something about eqgame access was not allowed. Totally lost here.

Copy the game folder to your desktop and run it from there using the launch titanium.bat file.

I am trying to launch using the titanium.bat file. That's when it gives me the error. After complete wipe and reinstall it is now letting me in.

Have you installed a new antivirus program or something similar, lately? Sometimes it can flag files and quarantine them without you catching them. That would be my first thought.

First time installing today, same issue.

First installed today, had same issue. Looked at the Launch Titanium .bat file, and after doing a fresh install went and created a shortcut to Eqgame and in the shortcut target line added patchme with a space after target destination. Game launches now, hopefully this will help you also!
