weird issue with first time login try

hello folks. old player from bristlebane here, 21 years ago luclin burned me out in two months and i quit. lucked on to a p99 youtube video recently and was delighted such a community exists. been trying to join the fun.

here is the issue.

i installed eq titanium, did the p99 patch. registered the login account and all.

but when i run the game with the launch titanium bat file. i enter my login info and then i am at this server select screen. except there are zero servers listed. its just a black screen.

i checked to see that both blue and green was up at that time. i was using express vpn, so i turned it off and tried again. still, blank server list screen.

does any veterans have any tips for me? or am i the first to run in to this strange issue.
