I know world is kind of empty. Just wondering is there a good guide on leveling in Odus? Where to go, what to do while there? It's classic content so there are competing factions, quests to do, and one has to be careful not to screw up own faction too probably.

It's one continent I never set foot on. So figured an Erudite Alt might be a way to go.

Thanks fellas

Panieel is the place to level at the start, the newbie yard there is so much better then trying to fight in tox. you can then move into the warrens once you have gotten some levels under you, but be aware that the warrens can be super dangerous as a solo player. Even as a duo it can be rough

Most of the cities have starting guides in the wiki. Unfortunately Paineel is one of the few that does not (maybe someone reading this could add one ...?), but Erudin has a pretty decent one: https://wiki.project1999.com/Erudin_Starting_Guide

yeah, maybe I'll be the one to do it. I'll start a DE cleric, run him to Pain-eel (evil city) and just go from there. Odus is a pretty desolate place, might as well try something new.

One continent I never leveled on, just passed through for a quest or whatever.

Yeah to echo what the other commenter said warrens is very dangerous as a solo player, more so if you’re not really playing a solo class

Worth knowing it is an outdoor zone though, so you can beg passing druids for wolf form / sow / harmony to split a camp for you.

I don't think p1999's paineel faction is very classic. There seems to be much more race/class/god combos KoS there than I remember.

Is Stonebrunt in P99? I remember Paineel helped newbie evil Erudites but the real help came with The Warrens.

Then Stonebrunt was added to the game and you could finally stay on the continent for a while if you wanted. Odus was always an underused, abandoned continent. An entire continent that consisted of a small city (then two cities with Paineel), a newbie zone and a cat island zone that a lot of people didn't even know was there. That was it. The Warrens and later Stonebrunt were desperately needed.

Oh they did add it to P99, good. I haven't been to Odus in quite a few years, since before The Warrens were added actually.

With those two zones an erudite doesn't have to leave the continent if he's content soloing and can probably hang out until it's time for The Hole.
