Anyone got a weapon a new barbarian could use?

I'm level 9 and having a hard time in Western Karana with my cracked staff. I only hit for 10 and I'm getting hit for 16. I'm sick of dying to blue cons.

Anything better than a cracked staff would be greatly appreciated. I have 107pp but need money for spells so I could probably only spare 50pp for the weapon.

but I should mention someone gave me an 8 DMG 35 Delay 1hb thats not too bad so I don't think I need anything unless you got something better.
