Why so,difficult to find and install?

I’m having no luck finding and installing this game :(

I played EQ from 1999-2005 then went to WOW. Since I came back to EQ on the DayBreak servers it’s been fun but totally miss old school EQ. I miss the old Freeport most of all before it was revamped and is unrecognizable.

I want to play 1999 but seem to be an old fart that can’t figure it out. I’m willing to pay for help getting this set up! What kind of world are we in when I can’t hire someone to walk me through this? Lol

It's hard to find because the game is from 1999 and you need a specific version to use EQ emu.

So yeah its a bit of work.

That is not what is recommended though it seems to be a popular option. EQ EMU naturally would avoid making such a recommendation due to the likelihood of it being downloaded without being first owned in hard copy form.

Run the 5 isos to create the EQ directory.

Then download the P99 files from front page, drop them into your EQ directory/replace existing files.

It specifically says they wont give any info on getting the ISOs.
