Was this changed? Seems like I can't pull much agro spam clicking it like I could before. Seems it disappeared when Fungi sticks switched to Dru/Sham only.
Regardless, it is a buff and should therefore produce some amount of agro.
Anyone else notice this?

I ofc never had one but I don't believe it was ever intended to be some All/All staff of the temperate flux. I have to say if it was changed. I'm happy about it. On that note, I haven't seen anyone spamming it to hold bladestorm aggro lately so they could've changed it!

It's technically a buff though, so it should logically produce some amount of agro, regardless of how little.
(Here we go with the tags again. Grow up, it's a game~)

As shown with all group heals and group regen and even single regen spells the amount of agrod produced is phenomenally large. This staff would provide that same amount of agro but I don't think that is something that is specifically intended namely because the agro generation for the other priest castable spells seem off. Some agro, perhaps, but I wouldn't expect to be much more past what the Guardian Mace gave on live.
I guess what I'm saying is they probably removed it because it was obscenely powerful and not intended to be used in that fashion.

I agree it was probably OP, but there is only like...what? <20 on the server? It's still a regen buff and should produce some amount of agro. Just saying.
P.S.- The amount produced before wasn't an extremely large amount. I had to spam it pretty hard for it to turn to me. But yeah, it was obviously nice to have to pull agro.

Any word? Must I find evidence of it producing agro? It's a buff, of course it generates some agro...which it does not now.

I could understand if it was a small heal, but i never caught aggro casting a regen spell iirc. This goes for here and live.

This is because you're casting it once. I am casting it 20-30 times in a matter of seconds...It should in theory build up agro.

Buffs don't generate that much aggro on here. Just how it is, deal with it. See the Warding Star, a weapon that generated a pretty high amount of aggro on live (guard proc), it does 0 aggro on here.

When I'm buffing noobs, I usually pull agro on whatever they're fighting when I cast Chloroplast. Regen is pretty significant agro.
That said, I hope they don't fix fungi staff agro here. Insta cast spammable agro seems like a bad idea.

This. Every druid knows group chloro is a shortcut to tanking the mob for the rest of its life.

Exactly. I understand the possibility of this being pretty powerful, but there are only a handful on the server, let alone in the hands of people who would use it as a form of agro generation. There is a reason this staff is worth so much money.
As far as finding evidence that it produces agro when spammed...I can't find any. Nor can I find any that says it doesn't create agro. People on P99 know the tricks people didn't know in 1999/2000. Of course it produces agro ,it is a regeneration buff that you can cast on anyone in your group. The amount of agro was most probably too much originally, but regardless, it should produce SOME. As of right now, I can't pull agro at the beginning of a fight after spamming it 15-20 times. The agro component seems to have been completely removed.
So you're saying any random caster that has this staff in a group, and uses it to regen the entire group DURING a fight, should be completely safe from agro after casting 6 regen spells in a matter of 3 seconds?
