Iksar Guards For Mage?

Are there any good Iksar guard or npc spots to camp? For some reason I can't bring myself to kill things that I have good faction with, but that really eliminates a lot of camps.

Noone really does iksar guards, they were made much tougher than old world guards. What level are you?

I'm only 35 but thinking ahead. I'm human so no real enemies..

Iksar guards are too hard: do trolls instead.

Even if they weren't tough because of the normal reasons people play Iksar, do you really want to fight a bunch of Shamans and Shadowknights?

As mentioned, trolls and ogres almost certainly hate you, you can start on the oggok guards along ferrott river at 39 and those inside oggok at 44, I'd save grobb for 49+

IIRC My guard diet is typically something like

34-39: NK and WK Corrupt guards
39-46: Ogguk guards
46-51: Grobb guards, Kelethin guards
51-54: Felwithe Guards, Kaladim guards
54+:Lfay Brownie guards, Neriak Foreign quarter guards

Ignore the goodie goodies if you feel like it, most of them would be too annoying to camp as a Mage anyways imo.

Do the ones inside, around the tower
Two wanderers nearby, 2 single pulls and a double up top. Pretty easy kills overall, decent loot. If your a mage just use the zone line to split the double, kill one and zone if you can't do both at the same time yet. Long spawn timer around 20min if I recall.

Always inside for city guards, outside ones are typically newbie guards that have crazy stats. Weird spots like NK, WK, EC/WC, HK, etc are fine.

Ogguk has 11 guards you can kill iirc, so plenty of mobs with a 22min timer. Two roamers, 3 at tower, 4? in tunnels, one pather+one near bank. You may have issues with getting to tunnel guards as a mage, I've always had illusion modifiers to help get around. Or they might all be vendors, its been a while. If you can't sell to vendors as a mage, you can pull the banker to the zoneline and bank while your pet tanks.

Most of the idiots i meet are iksar id love to take it out on their guards.

No offense to the cool iksar its just a fact its the iksar and the druids who have the highest percentage of dorks

There are not: even as NPCs Iksar (guards) are the master race.

If you really want to kill lizards, go kill that cave full of forsaken ones in Swamp of No Hope next to Emerald Jungle. You won't get xp or loot, but you'll get faction with the Iksar you can't kill.

They all have twice the HP and melee damage of normal mobs for their level. IIRC some have non-classic changes like resistances, some people took advantage of them having incorrect drops ~5 years ago and I believe they were buffed/changed.

Also: We're allowed to do all those things because Iksars are the best at everything we do.

Don't forget HighKeep guards. It does technically tank an irrelevant faction, though. I don't think HighKeep has the highest ZEM in the game anymore, but its still incredibly comfy, having neutral vendors, a bank, and guards/bards ranging from 25ish to lvl 40.
