My issue i'm having is im stuck at 30fps - i've scoured the forums, reddit and posts that go back years ago. I have yet to find a solution to increasing my fps.

Nvidia users can just lock their fps through the control panel. I haven't found that option for amd. I tried setting the limiter on the Radeon software but it doesn't seem to work.

I tried using the Ryzen Master software to set it to "game mode" - that didn't work either.

I've reinstalled a new EQ directory from scratch - launched the game and immediately was seeing 200+ fps in Nexus. As soon as i went to adjust the resolution to 1080p (something more playable than the 600x800 crap i started out with) the fps went to 30 and has stayed there ever since.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, or a "hey, your pc is trash in eq" is an okay answer as well.. i have just about figured there's nothing i can do about it, but i wanted to ask here first.

Are you sure you are in the right forum? Not quite sure how you got to the Nexus in P99.

I tried other servers also... anywhere there's minor congestion i drop - only way to get my fps back is to go 1st person and look straight at the ground.

Side note: I downloaded and logged into EQ Live - sitting at 150-200 fps regardless of who's around me or what's going on.

I'm feeling a bit of a poke from you just in reading the last 2 messages you've written. You're right, Google is my friend. Allow me to give you a list of all the places i've been to sort this out already. That was my bad coming here asking for help from people who auto-assume people want "easy" mode.

Adrenalin 2019 isn't compatible with the 6900xt - it just sits there and spins looking for hardware that's out of its reach.

I've tried everything that i've listed here along with other things as well as:
- mq2fps - frame rate lock
- disabled pagefiles
- added the 4gb_patch to my install so the game will use twice as much ram to run better
- I've spent time in game asking people if know anything that can help past what i've done.

**NOTE** this was all before coming here asking for help - i figured i would be berated and chastised for not having done my due diligence when "google is your friend".

My bad though, i regret coming here and i hope the admins delete this whole thing because it's a waste of time just like your comments.

I'm done here so you can have your "last word" for the internet to see and stroke your ego some more.

Low latency mode helps with older games but that is with nivdia software i know but i think radeon has simular with "anti-lag" mode.

Radeon software is weird, try downloading archived versions of old versions until the software works for your card is my guess https://www.guru3d.com/files-categories/videocards-ati-catalyst-vista-win-7.html

then try anti-lag mode maybe?
