Yes, another monk gear question…

Started up a monk. Having fun.

Got hp/ac rings, schw, robe of living fungus, and a WQS.

I also has a fbss. I was thinking of selling that and then getting a Peacebringer possibly. But I’ve also read that those were nice to hang on to for later.

I have about 1k plat for whatever at this time. Is Peacebringer worth it over WQS? Or should I get some other ac/hp things? I don’t have any decent 1hb weapons either at this time, but understand 2hb is better for leveling.

Well you don't need schw and an FBSS. And by the time you get your epic, you can get a free Belt of Tranquility in Sky. So sell the FBSS.

Peacebringer or IFS are good. The wu's staff can carry you into your 40's though. As for other gear ideas, HP is king on a leveling a monk (e.g. mend, bind wound both scale with HP).

you have haste and a good weapon. you're doing fine. stack that paper until you can buy a fungi.

If you are below i want to say 30 then the Wu's is better than the PB. After that PB takes the cake

I would recommend selling the FBSS and buying as many +HP items as you can.

Higher HP helps soloing and grouping.

When solo you can BW to a higher amount and getting to a place where you are fighting exp mobs that you can take at half HP is the path to fast leveling.

go on a sky raid or two to bank the rot belt for emergency worn haste ready for after upgrading schw to epic.

It takes a trivial amount of effort to exchange your SCHW for another haste item when the time comes. It's not like you log in one day and randomly have epic either, you'll know when its about to happen.

But yes, OP...you're in a good spot. Get IFS its the only weapon you'll need to hit 60. Save everything else for Fungi. XP on shit that drops sellable shit. Slowly save and maybe, just maybe, you'll be able to get a fungi in your 50s to help with the rest of the way.

Or just stay on the XP highway and who cares 4-6 man groups you can basically be naked.
