It always speaks much better for the seller when they can post the name in forums because if they cannot, it can almost imply some sort of issue with reputation or guild trouble or something. Just nice to get that sort of thing out of the way.

No, Smokemon is a female Erudite. This toon raided as a trial with TR until scheduling conflicts forced an early retirement. :(

You've been bumping a lot of threads asking about names. Often it's not a matter of hiding some kind of shady reputation but rather protecting the potential buyer by not plastering their name everywhere, as if to yell to everyone they aren't the original owner. Some people like to keep that discrete.

Names are very important to me, they matter. My girlfriend doesn't play her druid anymore and I was looking around for a character *with an awesome name* to try to get her back into it. :)

Names can not be changed via petitions anymore. They made that very clear, the reputation stays with the character along with the name.
