Apologies in advance if this is not a bug. Believe it or not i have been playing this game on and off since 99.
I can jump and duck 3-4 times but this does not interrupt a cast and obviously we will all experience the random interrupts while standing still.
Just posting this for input and because i dont remember this always being the case.
I will always try to remember /sit button from now on :o

** Gameplay Changes **
- Spell and Item Interruption: Ducking will now interrupt a spell
instantly. You will no longer be able to sit while using items or
casting spells. This will not affect bard songs, which will still work
as they always have, but will affect all items, even those with song-
like effects.

Great, TY. what about jumping? If i jump a few times that still does not interrupt it currently .

• Is jumping supposed to interrupt spells?
• If you are ducked when the casting bar finishes, it will not go off.
• As long as you are in the same location as you were when you started the spell, the spell will channel (except war/mnk/rog as they have no Channeling skill). Hence corner-casting.
• There are no "random interrupts while standing still." However, if you're running, and you stop and immediately cast a spell, the game will think you were moving. All you have to do is turn slightly after stopping and this will confirm to the game that you are, in fact, not moving.

I know i am interrupted while standing still all the time. Strange way to put it, seeing you seem to know what you are talking about :)
