Sometiems it happens when my EQ client turns black (but i can still hear sound) and am unable to play. Am forced to exit the game completely which can be a bugger at times especially when coming back in and dead or got a character logged in already message.

I have found luck with pressing Alt + Enter. This changes the games resolution back to a native resolution for the game. When that happens, the game usually runs like normal again. I would press Alt + Enter directly after to go back to the selected resolution.

Ah, I hope this helps too. If i am in that situation again i will try that.

Ok, would just like to say i tried the alt + enter and the screen just got smaller and the game stayed frozen / black.

I also got a Windows memory read error.

Its a good thing this doesnt happen often.

I encountered an issue where the screen suddenly went black and the game completely froze. I tried waiting for a few minutes, but there was no response. Restarting the game didn’t help either. This seems to happen randomly during gameplay and makes it impossible to continue. Please look into this as it’s affecting the experience significantly. Any help or update to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
