First of all I already know there's a lifting thread, but there hasn't been a post there in months plus this thread is also for the INT/WIS side of things, hence the hybrid theme.

With that out of the way, let's talk about lifting and getting those gains, both mental and physical.

https://pastebin.com/V84Y0J9Y < full of information that is extremely valuable whether you're into bodybuilding, powerlifting or just starting out.

https://archive.org/details/TheMindIlluminatedByCuladasaJohnYatesPh.D.MatthewI mmergutJeremyGraves2017/mode/2up < one of the best books on meditation I've read, if you're at all interested I highly recommend you to take a look. Even if you're an atheist who doesn't believe in anything spiritual whatsoever, there are plenty of actual mental benefits to meditation that I can vouch for.

I've also heard good things about this although I've never tried it https://brainscale.net/dual-n-back

Of course, the most tried and true way of increasing your INT is reading, so what books have you been reading lately? For me, I've been on a binge rereading my all time favorite books, I just finished Les Chants De Maldoror and now I'm going to reread the Gormenghast trilogy.

My wis score is like 14. Probably not good enough to roll a paladin, but good enough to dual class from a warrior and cast 2cnd lvl priest spells.

I'd be a bard (bad), always whistling, changing the words to songs (missed notes so to speak) and not doing ANYTHING for longer than 18secs.
But I can do it on the run (drumroll please) and all day long (sta build).
Damn it. Should have said Paladin.

Forgot to add. Best book is The Scars of Evolution by Elaine Morgan.
