Ranger off hand epic question

Can I still complete the quest if someone else has the pulsing green stone and the swirling sphere of color? Both are for separate steps of quest but it appears another item gets turned in with both. Thanks if anyone has a definitive answer for both items.

I know for a fact that the Venril Sathir stone is MQable as I received the MQ from my guild. I have heard the sky sphere is MQable as well, but have not personally done it.

Yea Swirling Sphere for me was MQ’ed by an iksar monk. PGS MQ’s are frequently sold by non-tree friendly classes as well.
