Human Inny Cleric vs. Dark Elf cleric

Hey. Having a tough time deciding between these two. I like the Delf fashion but I’ll have to do more faction work. Humans are alright fashion wise and are kinda neat, but lack Hide and Ultravision.
Kinda wish I could be an evil Half Elf cleric hahaha.

I intend to roll with a Poison Wind Censor on this toon.

What tricks can one race do that another can’t? How hard is the faction grind? Which cultural armor is harder to make?

Humans are the only ones who can quest the inny neck AND the paineel stuff. Deadeye helm (instant click), fear mask, etc.

Dark elves can do the snare neck and have innate hide.

Thought of a third choice, I could go Bertoxxulous on the human actually, Wonder what the differences in places they can go and some disease cloud tricks. Might not be too worth it lmao, but it’s interesting.

The only real cleric option is Bertox gnome for wall Vision, AoN through doors. Or human inny, for deadeye helm and snare. Both have their advantages. I’ll take inmate wall vision any day.

Bert guildhall is cool af but it’s not worth giving up snare necklace over that. I’d probably go human inny over dark elf. More clickies are fun, deadeye helm makes for a nice gcd reset item, and assuming you intend to do solo a lot hide isn’t all that useful since you’re mainly hunting undead.

The deadeye helm solves that problem and is a classic red bucket (instant cast, gcd, junk buff). The paineel shield looks a purple Mistmoore.

My cleric just runs around with a PSC and the epic bagged on roleplay. Looks exactly like a SK :) .

I did a human cleric tons of time (i love the cleric class)

but in the end I prefer dark elf clerics because of coolness

Male has awesome velious armor. females too but their helm is gross.

Good thing there are those "halos" clerics can get exposing their head.
