Highpass, Highhold and Guards

Countless hours of killing gnolls and orcs in Highpass. Highpass Guards and merchants glower at me. Is their faction set wrong? Also I am still KOS to highpass citizens, how is that possible?

As of now when I turn in scalps, it says my faction with the Guards is maxed and I believe with the merchants.

Also with Militia Guards, still glower.

Killing orcs for Knights of truth for 8 hours, still KOS in NFP

killing goblins in misty thicket gives random faction hits, some do some don't look into it?

I have also noticed an issue with the guards/merchants of HHK. Took all of about 20 smuggler deaths to reach KOS with the guards, and dubious with the merchants. I have spent 5 days killing gnolls in HHP and I'm STILL KOS with the guards (can't even turn-in scalps yet). That being the case, Tarn Vislin in HHK is on the merchant faction (hooray me!) so I can't do any of the Sol Ro quests related to him. According to Illia's, he is supposed to be beta neutral, and you can even turn-in bloodstones to raise beta-neutral faction. But sadly, I continue to grind and hope I'm just being crazy and impatient. If anyone else has noticed otherwis, let me know!

My memory is a little foggy on this, but I seem to recall it's the mucktails in EK that give the + faction hits to highpass, not the gnolls in highpass itself.

Gnolls in highpass and orcs in highpass give +faction to guards in highpass. I am not sure what faction the Guards and Merchants are on but I am sure they are broke.

Also the citizens seem to be on different faction as well.

I swear i read Patch Notes awhile ago saying Tarn is fixed-- for the ENC quests. Beta- Neutral Faction is NOT fixed. I've given a total of 200 Bloodstones to him and still will not trade with me.

I'm still KOS in Freeport, even after killing hundred of orcs over the course of a week.I'm not sure factions are working correctly.

Also after spending a while killing orcs, I wasn't able to raise HH faction by any noticeable amount.

It took me hours and hours of killing orcs/gnolls in highpass to move my faction, but it did move.

I am faction capped with guards/merchants and carson or w/e his name is, I am kindly or something with guards but dubious with merchants, something does seem wrong here.
