View Full Version : Game Mechanics: Getting stuck on (East) Freeport Buildings when levitated

I was trying for the 2nd time today to cut the route from the westernmost zoneline to West Freeport to the docks short by levitating over walls and buildings.

And the 2nd time now I got stuck on top of a building around neg100 neg450 and had to petition to get summoned out.

Symptomatic was a bit as if my z-axis coordinate was not evaluated correctly: I was running into "invisible" zone walls where there actually were walls, but below me. Getting there was a one-way thing: I could walk onto that building, then got stuck on top of it, could path back over the street though, and the gypsie camp, then i got stuck on the pointy-tip roof and from there i couldn't get down at all anymore.

Would appreciate if someone has an idea what's wrong there and if it's easy to fix :) Until then I recommend everyone not to levitate over buildings in EFP.

Or get someone to port you if neither work for now

This is how Freeport has always been. Going to be hard to prove otherwise.

/rewind didn't work because I was running around for a bit. Druid came and ported me out.

And I felt so cool with my new Pegasus Cloak running around the house tops. I'll be more careful next time.

I have no way to prove this, but, as a personal account, I have gotten blocked/stuck before while trying to levitate over Freeport buildings back when I was playing Live. It just sounds like it's consistent with how Live once had it (or still has it).
