The nanny state is destroying any profitable industries where startups, amateurs, hobbieststs, independent and self taught people can make a living. And become professionals.

Log everything.
Back it up in triplicate in multiple countries.
Submit to multiple background checks.
Pay for the privilege of training to buy yourself a position in the cogs.

And bend over and submit to state reviews by bought out and criminal career politicians and their lackies.

I'm not saying really bad. Really evil shit doesn't happen. That really powerful successful people don't abuse their authority and people don't die.

The cure is worse than the disease though when it's the government prying into every personal detail and the media covering up the facts and the truth with allegations and omission.

When you're forced to run to the nanny state and police. And hope they protect you. Or authorize you. Or attempt to control the situation, badly, and ineffectually. Causing collateral. Enabling ignorance and people to hide from the truth. Hide from reality.

You're no longer free.

You're just another dead body in a queue.

Change my mind.

Dude, or girl, whatever, I don't get it. Your pictures in total agreement with me and my post. It's just blatantly easier to read and more generally applicable

I mean this is 100% on point tbh

There are essentially no villains in history in their own minds, nobody wakes up and goes "how can I be EVILLLL today" like a 60's bond movie. They think they are doing what is right, consequences and collateral damage be damned.

Well today I slathered myself in lavender scented coconut salve. Bought off Amazon from some weirdo living in LA exporting their manufacture to God knows where.

It did come in a plastic dispenser with a box and ink that was probably printed in India and shipped overseas on a big leaky diesel hauler.

Yep, but a lot are just doing it for the paycheck and ez access to prostitutes and a swimming pool anyway. Even if they say they are saving #hookerlives by day.

they wanna turn America into a stratified brazil, with the teeming mystery meat masses in their rented favelas.

but even the best laid plans sometimes go astray, and the american government is mostly run by midwid geriatric bureaucrats, so what we are actually going to get is some kind of current south africa esque civil/race war in another 10 years or so

only a certain type of person genuinely appreciates freedom. Most of mankind is content with being ruled over, so long as it is done justly. This was the beauty of the kingship of the ancient times, the social structure of the middle ages - when under a just king the peasants loved to be peasants. Each person had his place ("Suum Cuique")

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buchenwald_concentration_camp

Buchenwald's first commandant was SS-Obersturmbannführer Karl-Otto Koch, who ran the camp from 1 August 1937 to July 1941. His second wife, Ilse Koch, became notorious as Die Hexe von Buchenwald ("the witch of Buchenwald") for her cruelty and brutality. In February 1940 Koch had an indoor riding hall built by the prisoners who died by the dozen due to the harsh conditions of the construction site. The hall was built inside the camp, near the canteen, so that oftentimes Ilse Koch could be seen riding in the morning to the beat of the prisoner orchestra.[9] Koch himself was eventually imprisoned at Buchenwald by the Nazi authorities for incitement to murder. The charges were lodged by Prince Waldeck and Dr. Morgen, to which were later added charges of corruption, embezzlement, black market dealings, and exploitation of the camp workers for personal gain.[10] Other camp officials were charged, including Ilse Koch. The trial resulted in Karl Koch being sentenced to death for disgracing both himself and the SS; he was executed by firing squad on April 5, 1945, one week before American troops arrived. Ilse Koch was sentenced to a term of four years' imprisonment after the war. Her sentence was reduced to two years and she was set free. She was subsequently arrested again and sentenced to life imprisonment by the post-war German authorities; she committed suicide in Aichach (Bavaria) prison in September 1967.[11]

On the main gate, the motto Jedem das Seine (English: "To each his own"), was inscribed. The SS interpreted this to mean the "master race" had a right to humiliate and destroy others.[6] It was designed by Buchenwald prisoner and Bauhaus architect Franz Ehrlich, who used a Bauhaus typeface for it, even though Bauhaus was seen as degenerate art by the National Socialists and was prohibited. This defiance however went unnoticed by the SS.[7]

"well, have you thought about other forms of government and society, like those of the past? Authority that is based on eternal principals and spirituality, rather than money?"

ultimately people get the governments that they deserve. Americans are trashcan 'human' beings, so they get the dogshit economic slavery that they asked for.

A case where truth has a liberal bias. He said it because it's true. People are leaving the service industry in droves. Being shut down and in their own headspace for a year made a chunk of people of all political leanings re-examine their lives.

I notice it when I go out and see people being nasty to service staff. I notice it with wrecks and traffic on my commute which takes longer than pre-COVID. A chunk of the population forgot how to be humans during the year and another chunk of low-paid wage slaves apparently got tired of putting up with the assholes.

I'm surprised we can run flights with the way people are treating flight attendants post-COVID.

The labourers on these farms had awful treatment. It is no wonder no one wanted to work them.

Extortionate rent to stay in a touring caravan with 4 other adults all summer with no AC, saturated humidity and working 12 hours under a sun which burns all day and most the night.

Compare that to Holland where workers would have an automated rolling parasol to work under with a bench to sit on so they wouldn’t have to stoop. And accommodation that met basic human needs with amenities such as proper running water, power and waste disposal.

Shutting down slave plantations on our own shores was probably the greatest Brexit bonus of all. That seasonal workers conditions had slipped to 18th century slavery was a great shame.

I heard the Branson guy didn't even go very high either. Like it was only remarkable because it wasn't a state enterprise doing it. Which is nice I guess but hard to cream over.
