Kedge Keep is a great zone with decent drops and fantastic XP. For casters it sucks yeah but is easily mitigated. Just like any other zone there are certain tricks you can use to make certain problems go away. Water stones or even an EB item is helpful With the right classes in a group this zone could easily be dominated.
WHAT DO I GOTTA DO TO GET A GROUP IN HERE?

No one grps in classic EQ.

Occasionally u get to be an enchanters charmed pet.

You can get a group anywhere you just gotta get all Used Car Salesman on their ass. Start recruiting people and selling them on the awesomeness of an underwater adventure!



...then on your corpse run back keep reassuring them that Kedge really is the best zone ever!

I haven’t spent a lot of time in Kedge besides Phinny raids here and there. I would do a pug there if someone started one

My only experience in the zone is people paying me lots of plat to run there and clickie rez them.

make friends with a druid and u already have a 2 man grp

druid + shm + a SK or necro down there would be legit :p

I hate how much I dont like playing in kedge keep it makes me question my reality because how could I not like something from origional EQ

Kedge is definitely hard mode water level from all the video games where water levels totally screw you over.

Its weird to manage water pathing.

I had a good time there duoing with Airbud there on Gustoo I got like a million levels in ten minutes it felt like.

I hit 50 in KK during classic era. It was some pretty dope exp honestly, and I'm still wearing my kedgemail gauntlets so *shrug*

WoW didn't even do a kedge keep, they did some underwater places, but zero kedges lol if that says anything :p
