Title

I've looking into my in game options and made sure that all text options are on SHOW and not HIDE. DOT damage isn't working for weapon procs or spell dots. DD spell damage is shown however. I can't figure this out, I've come here to see if there is any other insight on this issue that I may have overlooked. I'm assuming it may just be a problem with my UI. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

DoT Ticks showing were Not Classic and was Removed.

There is no way to show it anymore.
There are threads talking about it, some in RnF.

Wow, based upon very circumstantial evidence this was changed? Options menu allows this to be shown and hidden, did we consider that some people may have turned off dot damage from their options menu? I'm literally crying rn help.

It's not active on TAKP either for example so I don't think there is any room for argument on this one.

This was a big hit to all classes that use dots,. you either learn to play without it or don't use dots.

You can make triggers in Gina to time your dots...maybe even set it up to tick dmg every 6 seconds...but ya this change sucked and ruined my dps shammy /nod

Curious how did anyone know how much damage all the DOT based spells did in the original game if they weren't shown? So Everquest would sell a new player a spell and not tell them how much damage they did for years? Obvious, they can do whatever they want but this makes no sense. ie: Here necromancer, buy splurt but you will never know how much damage it does or that it increases over time. hehe. Odd change to come back to on blue.

that's how it was, a lot of things like this were not displayed with the client in original EQ. mana pool size, heal amount, etc. you had to use spells to test how well they performed.

I don't like its removal even if it's classic. Item links in chat aren't classic either but I love their inclusion.

Seems like they are selectively adding/removing stuff because "iTs nOt cLaSsIc" but keeping other things (that guy to remove PVP). Kinda arrogant and hypocritical.

We are currently at the following stage of grief over DoT ticks:
.................................................. ..Here..........................
Denial -> Anger -> Bargaining -> Depression -> Acceptance

The titanium client came out in 2006, I'm sure half of the options weren't around in classic. The TaKP client is closer to classic options, I think, and it has like half the things.
