Can't find EQgame error

Hey all,

Played P99 a while back. Coming back I see to be running into an issue a lot of people have dealt with.

So far I have tried a couple suggestions the community seems to suggest. I've completely disabled Windows Defender. I've also tried installing in a root folder such as C:\EverQuest.

I've been eager relive my 10 year old self nostalgia and play my horrible class/race combo of a High Elf Paladin. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Was able to get this fixed simply by combining most of the suggestions here. Ultimately making a shortcut, disabling my Firewall for the installation seemed to do the trick.
