Having troubles logging in

I seem to be having some problems logging in. I have downloaded and changed the eq changes file that didnt work as it was saying on the character select screen that my spell files needed updating. So then I tried using the eqemulater and i got the same result. Does anybody have any ideas what the problem could be? any help would be appreciated

I was logged in, but now I get: Error in your GUI XML files. I can't get to char select at all anymore

NM I guess i didnt replace all the files be sure to hit replace all when extracting the new spell files. EQ working fine on my client now

I'm having the same issue this morning. I was able to log on around 0200 last night, so whatever occured happened since then.

I downloaded and replaced all of the files that were in that patch and it still says the spell files are out of date

hmmm still having same trouble then OP not the first time I update files ...still says don't have the correct spell files =/ grrrrr I need my fix

ok i managed to get mine to work i uninstalled eq, reinstalled and used the eqemulator and it is working fine now. I would recommend people to try the new eq emulator and if you are using windows 7 then run the emulator as the administrator and it should work
