You mean to disable global OOC which is ridiculous
And maybe the broken /who that shows all info when someone zones in to a new place? Ya that one sucks.

Might be fun. Don't think GMs read this forum though.

Yes making sure the 30 people playing in 50 zones can't talk to each other will turn things around.

disabling /who would hurt the new player experience.

disabling /who would hurt the new player experience.
The problem is the neckbeards on the server will make macros for new players and bind it to directional movement so that it does /who all <newbiename> and then make a gina trigger that alerts them when it catches someone without role/anon.
So just leave role/anon on, right?
Wrong.
There's a bug that briefly reveals your class/level/zone when you log in, log out, or zone. So they'll catch you when you're logging in, know where you logged out, or know when you zone into a new zone.
And then they gather up their noob hunting raid force and hunt you down in a relentless fashion.
Totally normal behavior on a healthy server.

I would stand up and say yes, /who is bad. EXCEPT
When you zone in you see a shadow of people.
Red is bugged beyond repair.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about that. It's particularly disturbing when THEY zone in and their shadow teleports right on top of you.
It's like wtf was that.
