Occasionally, when I boot up the game, I ponder saving the beginning graphic where you decline or accept.
How would I save that to use as a desktop background?

On most operating systems the print screen button will either create a screenshot, or will copy/paste one into your copy/paste buffer (and then you can paste it into any graphics program ... I think even MS Paint, so that you can save it).

Once you have the file, setting it as your background varies by operating system: typically you either right-click on the image and choose some sort of "set as desktop background" option, or you have to right click on your desktop and pick some sort of "change background" option.

Imagine coming here to ask this question instead of a simple google.

Google snipping tool, or print screen button.

That's the one.
Thanks. Every time I tried to screen save it all I got was just a black rectangle.

on windows 10 you can just press these three keys:

Windows Key + SHIFT + S.

Drag the square you want to save, it starts where your cursor was.

Open paint, CTRL + V to paste.

Crop.

Save.

Set as backgrouynd.
