Seeking Suggestions!

Have not played this game seriously since Vallon Zek server days. I remember the golden years of EverQuest PvP - but that was a long time ago and I was a LOT younger lol.

Probably about to start on Red, but would appreciate suggestions on a better starting class/race for a brand new player starting from scratch. I understand the old saying (play what you like) but at the same time I kinda want to be able to level solo since I am sure the server is top heavy on levels.

Considered a Necro. Would be easy to level and mid/high levels I can farm decent with it. I am also told Druid is good. So figured would just come here and ask.

Use necro for pvp and to twink any other characters.

Or make as many friends as ucan on ur druid.

Both are solid.

Ranger and warrior pretty solid endgame pvp. So is clr if u want to heal. Hard to kill clr, pal. 1v1.

Necro, Druid, Shaman, Enchanter are your solo choices if you want to solo.

However, if you are going to have more than 1 hour play time at at time, go with your favorite class because a lot of people will help you get along if you start playing and being active.

But if you're going to be limited to like 1hr of playtime the above 4 classes are going to serve you best so that you can get some stuff done while you're alone.

I think enchanter is a personality type, and if your not into it then you won't be for some time. But they are very strong. Bards are good too, if you can get all the instruments you need at low levels. I think mistmoore battle drums are the only hardest ones. Can get a horn from mino caves in steamfont.

4 years now no ip exemption, vpn or anything and I’ve had 0 issues, there are no GMs on red, they do not care.

To the OP.. my suggestion.... go outside.. go read a book... do anything but this... it only eats up your life.

P.S. almost everyone boxes here.. no one cares.. people just aren't stupid about it running 6 box groups and shit...

To the others saying go read a book. Nah! I intend to play on Red99, not hard core, and I don't mind soloing. Necro seems a good choice, although Something good at PvP like a Wizard might be good.
