The things I felt upto messing with today are like 70% the RDA of "sodium". I could quarter 2x potatoes and try to suck out some of the salt that way...

Pretty sure I'm better off just not even eating. I can't imagine mixing the two and eating it in one sitting as my only meal will be that healthy either.

God. I just don't know what to do.

I think I just better hold out.

Wait, what? Are you concerned about salt making you fat ?

If you are fat it is because of calories, eat less calories and you will lose weight. Focus on low calorie dense, filling foods so that it's easy to maintain a caloric deficit without suffering. You can lose weight if you want to.

Have a nice day.

No. Salt is bad for us in massive doses. Especially the cheep shit in cheep dollar store canned foods.

So I opted for the canned spinach which was only like 18% salty and mixed it in with rolled oats to give it some staying power.

----
I was going to mix it up in some chicken noodles soup. But that would have been like drinking a very carby gallon of seawater.

That would have been like 70% salty in one meal. Like 1200g of salt.

My weight is gooooood. But I'm trying to get nutritious gut flora friendly whole foods in and it's hard to eat a fuckton of raw greens. Also like really "cooking" is off the table, I don't feel up to doing a lot of meal prep.

Got some cucumbers, a nice bakery bread and some hummus lined up for tomorrow.

Yeah I need to see a doktor but they yell at me like I don't eat right which is bullshit because I am mega woke on that shit.

i recommend the doctor-therapist-psychiatrist trifecta

blood test, spill your heart out a little bit, have a good cry, be told that you were abused as a child, then get your meds evaluated and realigned

you can do it all in 2 days. mite save a life

also the salt conspiracy is real and they're trying to get you. good luck

So I see a psychologist remotely every week, and do like a fun little group session every week aswell. The psychiatrist has like literally nothing they can treat because I'm not actually depressed and it's against the law to treat anxiety.

My GP knows I got issues and was in the ER last month and got a blow by blow of that from the EMTs and me, but it's the VA. So, uhm. They can't really do shit. I'm going to follow up tho.

My bloodsugar, lipids, a1c, all that crap is fucking perfect. I choose avacados regularly over pizza and candy. So that is not my problem.

Salt is not a conspiracy it's just laziness, greed, and a great preservative which normally doesn't get ppl. But like I really don't need a fuckton. So seeing how much was in the food I was interested in was something I was like really aware of. It's not a problem tho. I opted to do the soup another day. I had less sodium in my diet today than probably everyone who posted today.

The most efficient food is literally a brick of animal fat with some fresh nuts, berries, seeds, leafy greens for some vitamins and minerals. Doesn't get too much better than that, but it's hard to find healthy animals these days, and I hate killing even bugs.

Oh, and u can preserve stuff in fat prettty well for the winter.

BTW heres a cool fun link, u can rly use this info in a survival situation.

Get some sour cabbage and sour turnip. Try to get homemade from some ranch. The one in the store is pasteurized and my guess is good bacteria is killed. Sour cabbage is also great to eat as salad. Raw. Very healthy for your guts. If you can't find ranch with home made sour cabbage, you can make your own. Plenty of recipes online. Use non clorinated water and sea or pink Himalaya salt. Takes 7-14 days, depends on the temperature. good luck

Oh yeah. That sounds wonderful. I can make my own yogurt. Even got a fancy pot for it. The seasoning is simple.

We still got 12 lb of Himalayan salt. And I have a mortor & pestel. I should grind some up. Actually a rly gr8 idea. This is for sure my next big project.

I know a lot of people don't like it, but tofu is relatively cheap, will fill you up, and is low calorie/healthy.

My wife cooks fresh spinach regularly. One of her go-to's is boiling for like 1 minute, rinsing and then squeezing the water out, cutting, and mixing into some scrambled eggs. She often uses a splash of soy sauce to season, but if you want to avoid salt, that can be omitted.

I would not want to be in the same room with that person for an extended period of time.

Broccoli farts are probably the worst.

As an american I can understand how easily it is to eat too many calories.
